Step 1: Use a Flexible Measuring Tape A soft tape (or string + ruler) works best.

Step 2: Measure at the Base of the Neck Wrap the tape around the base of your dog’s neck where the collar naturally sits, just above the shoulders. 

Step 3: Snug, Not Tight The tape should be snug but not restrictive.

Step 4: Use the Two-Finger Rule Allow enough room to fit two fingers between the collar and your dog’s neck for comfort and safety
